Patrick Duart Sharp & Joseph William Hitchings

Joseph William Hitchings was a Sergeant (cook) in the Catering Corps (Royal Artillery). He was born in 1912, the son of Joseph and Beatrice Mary Hitchings of St. Austell Row, St. Mawes and the husband of Beatrice Hitchings of Plumstead. He died on 10 July 1942 and is buried in Section D, Grave 281, Plumstead Cemetery.
