Patrick Duart Sharp & Joseph William Hitchings

Patrick Duart Sharp was a Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was killed in an accident on 8 Oct 1940 and is buried in St. Just in Roseland Churchyard. The title of the accident report is below. Neither it nor the operational records of his unit have been digitised.

Joseph William Hitchings was a Sergeant (cook) in the Catering Corps (Royal Artillery). He was born in 1912, the son of Joseph and Beatrice Mary Hitchings of St. Austell Row, St. Mawes and the husband of Beatrice Hitchings of Plumstead. He died on 10 July 1942 and is buried in Section D, Grave 281, Plumstead Cemetery.
