Edwin Hicks

Edwin Hicks (1846 - 1938) was a builder by trade. He was responsible for three of the most significant buildings in St. Mawes as well as some of its infrastructure.

Silvanus Trevail

Silvanus Trevail (1851 - 1903) was a Cornish architect. He was responsible for three of the most significant buildings in the parish: The Ship & Castle Hotel and the primary schools in St, Mawes and St. Just.
